Being a Pennsylvania native and a huge Pennstate Fan,
I would like to say that we lost a great herro in Joe Paterno.
His life was so much bigger than just collage football.
    Rest in peace!

Are you serious? It's been in every major newspaper for months now. I live in Canada and we are still getting reports of it. He was a great football coach, and a dedicated man to the university. But he had to obligation to protect the children he oversaw and when he didnt report the horrible incident on that 10 year old boy and covered up his co worker. Im sorry hes just as bad now. You just have to ask, what if that was your little child.

You are entitled to whatever opinion you have, that is everyones god given right. I have children and I understand how the parents of those victims must feel. But he (Joe Pa) did go to his supperiors and campous police. It was they who droped the ball. The onlything I think Joe is guilty of is letting another man destroy his legacey. The wolves have been knipping at Joes feet for years to get out, and this was their opportunity to get him out. My opinion is Joe got shafted, died of a broken heart. I also believe that the media made the crime more Joe's fault than the actual perb that commited the crime. No need to argue about it.... WE STILL R PENNSTATE!

you can have the most amazing career on earth, and he did.
but i just cant get past that he protected a pedophile.
i served time, hard time. i learned alot inside, mostly,
that i never wanted to be a peophile, the lowest scum on earth,
red suit felons, look down and put down pedo's.

sorry, i have no remorse for this man..

again, you say "every major newspapaper" every major newspaper what? I am not a Penn state fan by any means yet I believe, as the courts do, that Joe Pa did what he was supposed to do base on the info he was given. If you have some information I don't, please list some specifics. As of yet, I haven;t seen anyone come forward with anythign credible to say he truly new, or supported, child molestation (which we can all agree if extremely hanus)
