HAH! bruce said it best! dang otty, 94 lbs of LR?? i couldn't do that with 70 lbs! well, the story behind all that is i initially had around 80, and it was too crowded, so i took out a bunch of the smaller pieces, i guessed about 10 lbs worth... but i couldn't stack it and make it look as good as 70% of the aquariums i've seen... it seems like the ideal thing is to have it stacked so that you can spread corals around, but also have enough open space up front... my arches looked like crap, and no open sand... or only a very little anyway...i could have stacked all the rock vertically, but i was planning on having corals and stuff, and i was told that that's a bad deal because corals don't do well on a vertical surface...

ANYWAY, back to subject.. thanks to otty and a few others (otty is the first one i remembered from the other thread) i've decided to stick around... they helped me realize that RO/DI units aren't near as bad as i was thinking... so here goes....

(big puppy dog eyes, quivering chin)... can you guys accept me back on the team? i didn't mean to insult you with the freshwater talk! I'll never do it again i promise! hahaha... ok whatever... i've still got all my equipment.. feeling good about it this time around... just need 2 or 3 more things, and i'll be all set as far as equipment... the sand and liverock is gonna be a pain in the butt though... but all that's another subject...
