Those are very nice congrats, they look furry and healthy.

 

Picked up a pair of yellow tail damsels...

 

Looks like a green stylo??

If it is anything like my purple stylophora, high flow high light will make it very happy and it will grow fast enough to give softies a run for their money! Sweet looking duncan too

That and my birdsnest are losing some of their color. I don't wanna say bleaching but they are not AS fuzzy or colorful in the last 20 days...


I started using Blue Life FX Pro in a TLF reactor at the start of Nov.
I may have misused it... in the sense that I got the larger size and it's in a reactor. It may be a bit much\been working TOO well for my sized tank.

I'll increase the feeding a bit now too because of the damsels.

Last night was my scheduled major cleaning so that alone took a few hours.

I honestly haven't tested anything lately, or last night so I don't know what or if anything is outta whack.

I'll try tomorrow when I'm relaxing at home watching A Christmas Story with some sweet nectar in hand. ;D

 

Love your tank FB...I was wondering about your stand, is that something that you built? It looks a lot like a very nice piece of furniture....

Yes, you can see the build process at the beginning of this thread.

It took a while to assemble the skin due to do the "bad" design I freestyled.
Even longer to stain, but I really do like how it came out.

I'd like to make a matching canopy for it but just don't have the time right now. Also, I may go LED's in the future so if I DO build one, I'll design it to hold the T5 now and LEDs down the road...

 

Yes, I apologize, I went back to the beginning after I posted my question...it really is beautiful - it looks like an antique...very nice....the modern with the old - great combination....

 

Well, I turned the reactor off on 01/03/13. The birdsnest and stylo were looking bad, the Blue Life FX Pro had to go.
It's been a week and a half and they are starting to look better again.

Just put 4 tbsp of GFO in the reactor today, along with a bit of ROX .8.

I don't think I'll try this all in one stuff again.


That being said, I may be breaking down and getting a sump online soon... stay tuned.
