Is that the same piece as the one in the picture from the previous pics? Beautiful!

Wow Fat, that colony looks great! It certainly seems to love where it is living.

Glad the puffer is making him/herself at home ;). Tank is looking good my man.

thanks. Definitely not, I do want them to spread.
I do plan to put some rubble around it and move a med rock near it.
Just been letting it be for now, hesitant to mess with it because its been soo happy. No rush. ;)

thankee sir. Piggy puffer ate the entire CUC, aside from one lone snail that finds refuge on the glass at night. I really need to order more soon!

    Few updates.

The light came in and I'm impressed with the quality.

Time will tell if it grows algae well...

Put the extra live rock I had sitting in the sump into it along with some LFS cheato and a bottle of Tigger Pods.

Here is the side view. The fuge is hanging onto the back of the sump.

I got sick of dealing with the ribbed flexible hose for the overflow drain so I built a pvc one a few weeks back. I was really bummed to discover I had to use a 90 instead of two 45s but it simply wasn't going to fit properly with two more 45's...
In a way, I like these little mistakes because the are all things I'll avoid on my next build!

Tank looks great, FB! Love the zoa colony. :)

FWIW, most any light will grow algae, as long as it has nutrients to feed on.

Also, 90s on the drain won't have any adverse effect unless you're at or near the overflow's max capacity with your return pump.

    Red Mandarin!
Finally, finally found one the right size who supposedly will eat frozen prawn row as well.

I'll try and grab some better pics but he's been busy hunting\eating pods since I've put him in the tank.

The Wavepoint light is growing algae like a boss. I'll try and put an update in, maybe Wednesday.
