The Jebao arrived in NY today. Maybe I'll be to my place by before next Saturday.

I picked up a frag rack and a small Duncan, one head from the LFS. Got 6 sm CUC members for free too.

The WP10 is tiny, if you have a golf ball laying around, that's a good object for scale. Compared to the WP40, this is a baby.

Have you got it running? What do you think?

    Update 01/23/14

So I added the JEBAO WP10 the other night, grabbed a Duncan too.

Today I picked up a Green Slimer and Birdsnest for a great price.
The Birdsnest was just a broken frag at the LFS. I have a handful of plugs sitting in my sump so I just glued it to one before I threw it in. It should do well, after 2 hours they both are showing some P.E.

Now for the Jebao: So I decided on the Jebao WP10 over the WP25 because:

    1. I have a hang on overflow on the tank. I didn't want to disturb the water going into the overflow box and possibly cause an overflow issue in the strange event the power went out and the thing came back on cranking at 100%.

    2. Judging from some of the reviews I've read on the WP25, folks are happy with two of them on 100+ gal tanks! I figured the wp10 would be more than enough on my 29 gal.

    3. I can't have a wave very big, my waterline is typically very close to the inside rim of the black support rim around the top of the tank. It will be splashing if it's too big!

    My thoughts.
I like it a lot. It's smaller than a Koralia 425 but puts out many times more flow, which I expected.
However, I thought it would be a little stronger...

The best I could do for a wave with it mounted 2/3rds from the top, a bit off center on the side glass was about .75 of an inch - with my return pump off. I must note that since I DO have an utube hang on overflow, I have my return much, MUCH higher than I like do to ensuring any microbubbles will gets washed down the drain. (this surely effect effects my skimmer and fuge performance but I have no choice). This effects it performance when it's normally running.

So I have it set at 100% power for wave function. Not much of a wave per-se but there is good movement throughout the tank! Also note, I do have a significant amount of live rock in my display tank. I'm certain if it was less and\or lower, the pump would be even more pronounced. I've left one Koralia 425 in which is on the same wall, at the very bottom to blow behind the rockwork and up (I've been turning it on and off to mix it up).

I tried the ELSE function, and it is actually a bit TOO MUCH!!!
It's simply in full strength powerhead mode for a too long and it's just too much for the tank!
Apparently folks really like this mode but at the moment, I don't. I'm happy with the frequency of full strength wave mode (W1). I have the dial set just past 9 o clock which works for my 30" long tank. At night, I been bumping it down to W3 when the lights go off and back up to W1 early when I leave for work, 5:45 am!

I do like the pump. Small. Strong. Controllable. I will say that the largest tank (I beLIEve it ) should be on for a mixed reef is a 29 gal.

So, I'm happy. Tank appears happy, it's still a bit early to tell but it should do the trick, especially if you have it on W1 or else mode.
I'll add any notes if I see fit in the future.
