Decided not to use the wipe on poly, it's just too thin.
Picked up some of the regular stuff in semi gloss and put a coat on this afternoon!
The darn thing is almost done, just another two coats!

I've been doing the work on it over at my old man's house in the garage and while he was checking it out today I was telling him, "Yup, someday this will look nice in your living room when I pass this on to you after I build the stand for my dream cube." :smartass2

Got the spot ready at home for where it's gonna go.
Looks like it's time to open the box of rocks and begin building a scape as I see water in the near future...

Haha, sorry, so pics today either. Very soon tho! ;D

Sanded down the 1st poly coat this afternoon with 000 steel wool and then applied the 2nd coat. It's going to need one more tomorrow which might be the final one, hopefully, we'll see. I got so much dang time into this friggin stand I'm not gonna rush it now!

I got thrown on 3rd shift this week for vacation coverage, which are the hours I'm usually asleep, so I'm not running at 100%, gotta cut a brotha some slack :zzzz:

So if I 3rd coat poly tomorrow I should be able to scape on Friday and get my water on and some full tank shots for yall this weekend. Hopefully! :-X

    Thanks.
Yes, it is removable. It is a snug fit and also held in place with 6 magnet "latches". It'll be more clear in future pics.
