    Thanks you sir.

I almost put a door in but I thought the full front would be easier... it wasn't haha. It posed a handful of things I had to do differently in the build but I think it was definitely worth it!

    Thankee

    ;D

Thanks. Since I took my time, I don't wanna know the "true" cost of my time that went into it! :p

Building the frame took no time at all, I planned everything out and then just cut all the wood in one shot, everything went together perfect.

I may post a short stand thread sometime for that part since the tank is a popular size (not really for a reef but whatever) and it should be easy for some folks who aren't as handy with woodworking as others to have all the dimensions for the 2x4's needed.

    Tank is running!

Painted back of tank today. Leveled tank/stand.
    40# of sand in.
Maybe 35# (of the 50 I have) of dry rock in and 7# of fresh live rock in.
I made 20 gal of ro water today and only got 15 gal of it in mixed, brought to temp and put in. The last 5 for tonight is mixing and being heated but is gonna have to wait till tomorrow to go in.
...So are the final pics for you guys :p

I'll get some nice ones tomorrow night once all the water is in and it's not tooo cloudy. It's much less cloudy than I imagined, I've been pouring it in very slowly on the rock.

    Almost there!

Started the cycle 08/01/2012! :party014:
Put a raw shrimp (skrimp) in on Tuesday, gonna have to pull it out tonight, it's quite nasty!
Picked up an Aqueon Quiteflow 20 HOB last night and threw it on. Since I don't have a sump, I may contine to use it with carbon and floss, we'll see...

I'll prob keep messing with the scape for a bit, I'd like to go a bit higher and less wide, no rush.

    More phone pics.
