    Thanks folks.

I'll hold off on feeding for a while.

What do you recommend for food?

From what I gathered they like mysis shrimp, silversides and raw shrimp from the market. So alternating between them all may be good?

Good looking nem! I will probably end up going against the grain and getting one in short order as well... so dont feel too bad. I think when that rule was made, tanks were alot more unstable than they can be these days.

Research, research, and research more. WetWebMedia is a very good source, but you'll read a ton!

JM2C, let him be. The more you touch/bother him, the more pi$$ed he'll get. Place him near a rock and let him go. And, cover your powerheads. Seems like there's always a thread about nems getting sucked into a powerhead...

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like sm. pieces 1/4 inch or smaller of raw fish or scallops.

Silversides are ok, just make sure it's small pieces.

Nice pickups. It's funny, I have a 420 nano and 550 in my 46 bow and I was surprised by how much more the 550 puts out. Just curious, where in MA do you shop (and which is your preferred)?

Congrats on the nem, good luck with it.
I feed all of mine (one LTA & 3 rock flower nems) the same stuff I make for the tank.

By the way I love your golden CBS, very nice.

    Thanks, Will do!

Well, I was surprised how little difference in output between the two when you see the size difference.

    Thankee

Thankee. We gonna get some pics of those huge reactors you built in action soon or what? ;)

Reached in and touched the nem this afternoon and he's well planted. It almost looks like he's in the sand but he's actually attached really low to the rock.
The crappy part is he's attached to the back of the rock facing the rear of the tank.
Ohh well, I'll not gonna mess with him. Hopefully he moves to a more appealing area for us but as long as he's acclimating well, that is what matters.

Well that is good news about being footed.

Dang Anemone though, why do they always to that.

I am pretty sure it has not settled yet, it's still fairly new. They do move around so all hope is not lost.

Great thread, FB! Love the stand and the scape. Those golden CBS are way cool, too. Good luck with the nem. It's not uncommon for one to go behind (or under) the rocks when first introduced into a new tank, so it should be fine.
