    Is that a hole..did it come from that area, or is it coming from where it is hanging? just curious more than anything else...can you snip it off and place it on something so as to grow you think? ..or do you just let it go?
    seems like the coral is very healthy.:confused:

    It's so bizarre!! The coral is very healthy. That is a hole - but it appears old. Like that when I got it, etc.

    My tank guy was here today and he's never seen that before! haha He said to just let it go and see what happens - he's quite interested!

    The hanging part has gotten even longer the past few days.

    That is so strange but I have seen frog spawns do the same thing & the head died.

    Finally found a thread from another forum where someone posted a photo that looks exactly like mine - and all the responses said it was dropping a baby.

    I've only had this coral a bit over a month (?) so that's cool if he's so happy already!

    So let's hope!!!
