Favorite song? What city am I in? what radio station is playing? does it put the boogy in my get along? does it make me bounce in my seat when driving? give me goose bumps when i'm with my Baby? make work a little lighter? Blues, Rock&Roll, C&W, Honky Tonk, Bluegrass. Music makes life. As to a favorite, Songbird by Eva Cassidy.

I would have to say Second Chance by Shinedown or Hanging by a Moment by Lifehouse.

I have way too many favorite songs to list...but some of the songs on my list right now are the new Breaking Benjamin "I Will Not Bow", "Ain't No Rest For the Wicked" by Cage the Elephant, "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence, and so forth. I will listen to anything by Shinedown. My two favorie Shinedown songs are definitely Sound of Madness and Second Chance. I like several songs by Disturbed on their album "Ten Thousand Fists". Most other Disturbed songs not on that album are, well, too "disturbing" for me to like.

I listen to all sorts of music though, so this is a hard question to answer :D

yeah. metal really is a popular genre, mostly because it is so diverse. there are literally like a hundred sub genres to metal. i also believe that it takes the most talent and creativity of the genres because where there is one band there is another ten than can sound exactly like them, sometimes even using the same beats and riffs. i dont think anyone really listed any real metal bands though, other than bury your dead. dont even get me and jossmalo started on the metal topic. this forum would never end and him and i might never talk about fish again on here. haha. i love music.

bury your dead is great. I saw them back in august and it was excellent. I saw them with static x, suicide silence, and mudvayne. it was a pretty crazy show. I love metal but I am kinda choosy about it

me too. i am wayy picky. mostly because i play guitar, bass and mess around with drums. so i know what i like. check out despised icon, i have just recently gotten into them. otherwise i am usually into brutal metal. most people hate it, but i am not most people lol. everyone has there own tastes... just as long as those tastes arent hannah montana... or something along those lines. lol

i'm really into the stuff that has a little bit of melody in the vocals. I think it takes a huge amount of talent to scream through and entire verse and be able to sing like crazy in a chorus. I like stuff also like bullet for my valentine, disturbed, otep, kittie, and ofcourse your greats like ozzy, megadeath and metallica.

i am actually a vocalist. i dont sing, if that what you would call it. im more into new age stuff. but you have to appreciate the oldies like metallica and such. they built the genre. if it werent for them music wouldnt be the way it is today. check out gojira too. some of the greatest musicians of all time in my opinion.

As of right now my favorite song that I listen to is on YouTube. It is Randy Newman...Short People. If you want a good laugh you should listen to it. It is wrong on soo many levels, yet so funny you have to laugh. Ive got to go listen to it now.
