Was wondering if anyone has had a feather duster break completely in half? It's a clean break, not ragged as though something else tried to break into his tube. Can't tell if he's in there or not. Had him about a month or so and seemed fine, staying open quite a bit and expelling poop packet. He was anchored pretty good in the sand and kind of leaning over a small rubble type rock. This morning he was broke about where he was leaning on the rock. Also of interest, another feather duster located elsewhere in the tank, was turned completely around and under a small rock overhang. He was orginally located just outside of the overhang and my starcki damsel like to hide behind him under the overhang. The duster didn't seem to mind and wouldn't even duck in his tube when the damel was around. I've only had that duster about a week but he seems fine as well. He's not as well anchored as the other one. Since becoming rotated I have not noticed him out quite as much. Should I put him back or leave him under the overhang? Something seems to have happend overnight. Any thoughts, suggestions and comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Angels will eat feather dusters. Not sure that's what happened but usually angels and feathers dont mix well.

Good news! Feather duster is alive and well. He came out last night to eat. Not sure what happened but he seems fine as well as the other duster who seems fine under the rock overhang. Thanks to everyone.
