 I haven't seen a copod in quite some time. Not real sure what they're feeding on. They are very high in my tank, maybe they're skimming??

Take a flashlight and look into your emperor 400 (ol' filter) you'll probably see a few crawling around.

Just a ? does not having all thoes feater dusters/filter feeders pull nutriance from the water that your corals are also feeding off?
could it not be a disadvantage to have such hi amounts?

Could it be a dis-advantage? I guess it's possible. I spot feed so, they only eat what ends up in O-flow. I've never thought of that before. My water quality is stellar. And corals are growing rapidly. Some are spreading to where I'll need to cut them up and give them away (again).

They are super small. They are the same ones you have. I've never seen them get much bigger than they are.

They are still great for your tank.

do they help diffuse the chemical warfare going on with my leathers? I've never had my finger or toadstool to slime, but I feel like the other corals know they're in there, being it's only 55 gal. that's another reason why I'm doing the fuge.
