One of my feather dusters lost his crown last week. I found it was under a rock. I know that they will do this and to give them some time. Well this morning I found him sticking out of his tube moving around. So he is still alive. When I came home from work and he is still wondering out the end of his tube. How long before they grow a new crown? worm15.jpg

I takes a few days for the crown to start coming back. Hang in there and good luck. Generally not good to see them wandering around like that, but yours is still holdng on to the tube which is good.

Thanks, He had a nice big crown but now without it, it is pretty ugly.
