Last night I noticed 2 feather dusters/tube worms growing in the middle of my zoa colony. Is this normal? Or should I try to remove them?

this is fine, they shouldn't irritate it at all and they will actually help grab detritus that would normally settle between heads. Featherdusters never cause harm to anything.

I have several in my zoa's. They don't bother the zoa's at all.
