Was wondering if someone could identify what is living in my rock. They are white with red spots and look like fans when they come out of their tubes. I am attaching a picture. Its not great but hopefully will help.

Whatever it is I see lots of them in my rock.

From what I can tell in the picture and the description including the tubes I believe it is feather dusters. I dont think aptasia has tubes. Someone else feel free to chime in. BTW feather dusters are OK, actually desirable.

I'm not a "bigwig" but that's definitely a feather duster. I've had both in my tank.

    Crimson,
that looks like it. I can only see a small portion of the tube
since it is in the substrate. No idea if they are that long or
    not.

So is this good bad or don't matter

Its good. It is a filter feeder, I don't know about how much filtering the tiny ones do but hey every little bit helps I think.
