My feather duster, which seems healthy, is spewing out silky spider-web looking threads. At first I thought it might be his feathers falling off, but his plume is as full as ever and these don't look like "dead feathers," more like white hairs or pieces of spider web. I've read that they can reproduce asexually. Could this but what I'm seeing? Or is there some other health issue I should be concerned about?
