So I'm thinking about keeping a feather duster in my tank. How exactly do I take care of one?

How hardy are they? They have some really nice looking ones at my LFS.

If they get stressed out they can lose their "crown" of feathers which has an effect on feeding. I had one that was traumatized being removed from the tank at the LFS, lost it's crown and never quite recovered all the way before dying.

that being said I have probably 20 or so of the small common dusters that seem to be thriving.

Mine has been really hardy. I have transfer him to many different tanks. Never acclimated because he is attached to one of my very large rocks. I just match the temps before I moved him.
