    Mine is in a 3gal, I think he has plenty of room in there. The vase my Gf's is in is only temporary until she gets it to her office. It's just in there for easy transport so she can carry it easily.

    Todd, I figured I'd put my old two bulb T5 fixture above it for lighting ;)

    +1 you can make a nice mini planted tank with that kind of water volume and depending on the plants you don't even need any specific lighting.

    betas are pretty cool
