    With the clam... drip acclimate.

I never drip acclimate SPS. Get them to temp, dip them, then put them in.

Who no drip acclimation on the SPS?

Also, I've never dipped anything. Why do you do that?

I am new to SPS, if you can't tell.

Seeing some of the fosters 30day guarantee items on there. Im assumming the origin is Wisconsin.

Im not surprised there is a delay. If its coming from the Midwest right now. We have crazy winds right now. Im not to far from the facility here in wisconsin, let me just say on the way to work some of the trees where swaying quite bent.

If its from the Wisco Facility, They pack the items just like if you were getting it from divers den. They pack their items to last up to 72 hours in transit. However Not great for them but Ive had stuff arrive late from them in flying colors.

even though it may not look like it, pests can be hidden on frags of anything. Dipping corals helps reduce the chance of introducing pests into your aquarium. Save yourself having to tear down the tank and spend 10 bucks on a coral dipping solution.

The problem is it has been in Morgantown, WV since 8:30 this morning so just a little annoying...lol

Thanks for info on your own personal experience. Always the best kind of advice.

I've had stuff take 2 days to get to me before - my Fed Ex hub LOVES having delays. 100% of the corals made it, one fish did and a couple fish did not. So I think your coral will be fine just being a few hours late!

First offcall up and get someone to track it down, i had to once as well. Then as soon as you get them, go get CoralRX from your LFS or Revive if they dont have CoralRX. Temp acclimate the bags then add your SPS to a bowl of tankwater as per the dip's instruction so that you dont get bad-nasties in your tank. then plop them in your display after a rinsing. The clam I would drip acclimate but I haven't lost a coral yet to temp-dip-drop acclimation.

    Called em, got'em, acclimatin'em!

Quick question! Are SPS light sensitive after being in a box that long? Do I have to worry about lowering the lights in the room?
