I recently purchased a gorgeous trachyphyllia brain and everytime I feed my tank it sticks his feeders out. So i give him a squirt or two of mysis that he gobles up right away. I know overfeeding corals can cause stress, but if he is asking for it does it hurt?

He can filter feed just fine. I usually give mine a chunk of fish every now and then to keep him happy. Those guys have big mouths!

That is a good looking one for sure. They eat like pigs, so I wouldn't worry too much about overfeeding it. Just try to keep it to a couple times a week at most.

Any meaty food will do, they are equal opportunist feeders.
