Just purchased a pistol shrimp and two gobies trio, the gobies will take brine and mysis shrimp but they are not getting a chance. As soon as any food goes in the two saddle clowns take it all, i dont want to put to much food in the tank and start to up nitrate and phosphate levels. I have tried putting some brine shrimp and finley chopped lance fish in front of the two cave entrance's, but as soon as that is down the hermits come in and the gobies retreat back inside. The diamond goby is quite bold and will venture out of the cave, but only for a few inches. The yellow nose won't come out at all niether will the pistol.

    Any idears would be welcolme.

    A very worried ian.

it probably doesnt matter as long as it doesnt interfere with the food geting near the gobies,

i would feed the side away from the gobies a second sooner so the clowns go farther away.

if the gobies arent scared of you, you could try target feeding them.
