I don't intentionally feed them but my Duncans and Euphys always get the pellet fall out from what the fish miss. Hasn't hurt or helped as far as I can tell.

Yea, you could feed them the pellets but there are better choices if you are going to target feed them. I feed my LPS more meaty foods. I actually have a mix of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, krill and blood worms. That way they get a variety of nutrition and all my LPS love it! Even my fish, cleaner shrimp and hermits! To me this is a lot better for their health than pellets. You can also get food that is specificly made to feed corals too. You can still feed the pellets if you want, it won't hurt them, I'm just saying there are better choices for them.

I saw a thread about chalices that someone feeds each eye one pellet twice a week and they get good growth /shrug I'm sorta thinking of trying it but as Holly mentioned there is better stuff!

Yeah I was just wondering. I'll probably feed mysis&gut loaded brine.

I feed my lps pellets exclusively. I have nursed back to health a scoly with it that was on its last leg. My Miami hurricane chalice grows exceptionally fast when I place pellets on its tissue once or twice a week.

Fun fact about chalices: they have adapted to absorb nutrients from food through any part of their skin upon contact. Read that in Coral Magazine :)
