I added a skeletor moray about 2 weeks ago and I am wondering how much to feed him. I have read to try and feed 2-3 times a week which I have been doing but mine always seems hungry. Every day when I feed my puffer Mysis, the eel comes rushing out looking for his meal as well.
He is about 10 inches now and a little larger then a pen around. He has been eating silversides and freeze dried krill. I know eels should be fed a variety of foods as well, so what foods would you recommend and how much of it should I give him? Also on non feeding days when he is begging, is it ok to give him a very small piece of something so he doesn't keep franticly swimming around the tank looking for his meal, or is it best to keep to the 2-3 days a week feeding?

    Thanks
    Travis

Eels always look hungry.I would stick to 2-3 times a week. You can try some squid, shrimp, octopus, and any fresh fish from the grocery store.

I always fed my Snowflake eel that was 12 inches and about as big around as a chapstick 3-4 times a week, normally just a small piece of krill 2-3 times per week and then a medium sized piece of silverside 1x per week. He always swam out during the night and when I fed during the day. I had him quite a few months and actually just traded him in.
