They don't grow fast enough?! ;) I'm sure it would, but I've never kept them so im unsure of what they would eat or what size of food they would eat.

They grow like crazy as it is however one time I tried to target feed mine and they don't really respond to it. I have seen them eat before by catching something that floated by, but when I tried to make them eat I was not successful. Don't worry about trying to feed them though, before you know it they'll be multiplying and growing like crazy.

You would probably need to feed them something for filter feeders as their mouths are on the smaller end. I've never actually seen them respond to food I place in the water, but they might. In my opinion, they are one of those corals that you just let grow on its own.

Yes, feed it! My mushroom loves brine shrimp and had been growing (and multiplying) rapidly.I had 1 mushroom 2 months ago, and since I started feeding, I now have 4. even though they grow fat enough. He loves food. I feed my xenia brine shrimp as well. They both love it, and they are rapidly growing.

Also, I target feed him with a turkey baster. Just letting the brine shrimp land on him, and then the mushrooms turns into a cone shape, when he opens, all the brine shrimp are gone! lol

My green mushrooms don't respond at all to food but my hairy mushroom goes nuts when I feed him, he closes all up trying to put the food in his mouth.
