I think he ate my Regal Tang.

I bought a Purple tip Anemone from LFS a while back, its been doing really good. The guy there said it would not bother my other fish, my Gold Banned Clown has hosted it and they are doing really well. I recently bought the Regal Tang and she was doing great as well, untill about 2 days ago she Dissapeared, and the Anemone sucked in and balled up for about a day, and is back to normal now.

The Anemone is about 4" across at the mouth(not including Tenticals) the Regal was about 1.5 - 2"

    What do you guys think?

I just hope he doesnt start demanding Tang for dinner every night. =/

    Thanks guys.

    Whats your water test results

    HI,
Your tang may be in your rock, Mine stay clear of my LTA it could be because my Large CLarki is always in it and He don't share with the other's.
When my LTA ball up the water is off, They really hate any change in KH, even if its for the better. That marine buffer will make them barf every time.
Be sure your not doing anything to fast like fixing The KH or Calcium most LTA"S are real sensative.
My tangs live for Spirulina flake be in the Marine 2 or any type , I believe they should eat mostly plant algae and very little meat they will eat alot of meat but its not supposed to be good diet.
How is your phos doing. be careful if your using kalkwasseur too it wreck havic on KH if added to fast or not settled out.
    Doug
my clarki always share with the LTA I buy alittle fresh shrimp frozen peel a piece and drop it in the water and the Clarki ram it in the LTA. who grabs it keep the piece small or they may regurge after a couple days.
