feeding my anemone

    May or may not be feeding anem. If "wallowing" and cleaning it, expect they are, but you are just not seeing...

    Do they rush back to anem periodically during tank feedings?

    Have long thought, that just clown "poop" may be what anem may be mostly eating...:-/

    But mine went 5+years without having to specifically feed...

    i have direct fed, my anemone frozen mussel cubes, with a turkey baster.
    since doing this, my single bubble anemone, has split 3x!!!
    i've now got 3 anemones, from the 1 original!
    try it out.

    I use a feeder stick, or my fingers. watch soft areas of your skin, my bubble sting the crap outta the underside of my wrist during a cleaning of the tank. felt like I dragged my veins over a lit stove, pain lasted for about 10 minutes. krill and crab meat, sometimes mussels. another approach is to get a syringe and melt down some of the frozen foods like brine and mysis, in a little tank water, suck into the syringe, and gently spray towards the anemone. he'll grab it outta the water around him.

    How frequent do you guys feed your anemone, i have a Haitian anemone and i feed it krill once in a while
