I was having a problem with getting my new tang to graze on veggies, but with further reading I found that he was probably grazing on the small patches of algae in my tank. It has been about 2 weeks now since I put him in my DT, Last night I put in a piece of romaine on a veggie clip and within about an hour he began pecking at the lettuce! I can to notice the lettuce today all chewd up and the tang's colors and body look alot healthier already!

Also on another note, I have seen my coral banded shrimp and the tang getting along with echother. The shrimp last night was cleaning the tang, what an amazing display of skillfull swimming by the tang!

Romaine lettuce works very well and so does seaweed stripes. I have also found that they like broccoli too.

I put a Romaine leaf in twice a day. I have for the last year. Tangs look great.

I read that putting nori in is better than using terestrial vegetables since it has everything they eat in the sea.

Hmmm The Nori/Seaweed and Lettuce debate. I know people who swear by one or the other and have perfectly healthy looking fish! I personally used Nori. But I swore somewhere I read it is easier on their digestive system then it is lettuce. I could be mistaking.

Regardless glad to hear hes chowin' down and looking better!
