I had a question about feeding Nepthia Coral (Green and Purple varieties) I have been using Zooplex to feed the tank . I was told yesterday that the zooplex was not any good and that I should pick up some of the Phytoplex that the LFS keeps in the refridgerated case because that is " live " food is the true? does anyone have any suggestions? The nepthia frags are doing well and appear to be be growing but I want to optimize that.

    Hey Jim
I used Kents phyto and the intructions on the bottle indicated it should be kept refrigerated

Nepthea do not require feedings other than suitable lighting within the right spectrum and PAR. They may consume foods as a result of absorbtion directly from the water column but you shouldn't have to feed the coral phyto or zoplankton either!!!
