    I use frozen meaty foods like mysis, krill, clams and other shellfish.

    i have my hammer under halides and it never requires feeding, if you have t5 led or halides i dont think its necessary just a precaution

    I've stopped spot feeding. just spray a turkey baster full or frozen cyclops or frozen mixed food into the tank a few times a week. Seems to feed everyone and coral growth does not appear to have changed.

    hey i dont spot feed anything but my nem, but i do feed cyclopeeze and reef nutrition phyto and rotifers(green liquid) and the milky stuff for clams..would i need to spot feed with mysis, my fish get a mash of white fish, salmons, clams, oysters, and selcon..

    sorry to hijack but didnt want to start a whole new post..

    even spot feeding the hammer, I don't think it eats.

    I have to turn off all flow just to get the food to stay in its tentacles and it generally lets that go too.

    it's fine with just light.
