I posted a problem yesterday regarding feeding. My new yellow tail damsel, purchased 3 days ago, will not eat anything. I tried frozen mysis shrimp, marine flake food (which claims to have garlic added), dried bloodworms, and sinking tablets. He won't eat anything. When I add the flaked food to the top of the tank, he stays at the bottom of the tank. When I add the mysis shrimp or tablets which sink to the bottom, he ignores them. Unfortunately, with all the food I have been trying, I fear that my water quality will degrade. Any suggestions? By the way, he somehow still looks healthy and is swimming well.

JJK - nobody feeds my fish when my family and I go on 1 week holidays
if we go for 2 - I ask a trusted friend to feed once every 3 days (he is not a aquarist but he is smart)

    dont worry about it yet
dont try and feed every hour or you will get the problems your worried about
    syphon out any uneaten food

try feeding twice a day for next couple of days

If its healthy, it will eat eventually

I would actually try not feeding it for the next couple of days.

Most of my fish didn't eat for the first week.
