Ok got my first piece of coral and its a toadstool. LFS guy said iodine is what I should add to the tank. I bought a bottle. I have a 24 gallon so half a cap full twice a week? Do you have a test kit for iodine for me to make sure my levels are ok? Just need a little hand holding thanks.

    No Need buddy!

Toadstools get all their nutriotional needs from light. You shouldnt have to dose Iodine if you do regular water changes! But keep the bottle! It will come in handy for when you need to do an iodine dip!

I have a 60 gal tank and I add 2 DROPS a week... sometimes..... Maybe I need to add more, but better safe then sorry....

I have a 24 gallon so half a cap full twice a week
That sounds like ALOT to me ....

Till I got a test kit, I would lay off the iodine ..

Stuff you add for filter feeders will also do your Leather good.. And Mushrooms are good to start with..

    Good Luck, Larry
