I don't add any supplements or additives, I think they are a waste of money.
Most are maybe a step above snake oil.
I would never ever, did I say never, add anything to my tanks unless I know 100% for sure it is lacking or deficient and thats where a good test kit comes in. You need kits for each and every ingredient that is in the additive or supplement so you don't overdose the system and throw it out of balance. Use the kits on a regular basis so you know when a level is dropping and you can calculate the demand, never go by the label since we know one size does not fit all!

Better yet, throw all your additives in the trash and do scheduled water changes with a good salt mix and have a healthier system. Salt mixes contain everything you need with the possible exception of calcium/alkalinity/magnesium which is easily tested for an can be found in inexpensive two part or three part mixes. These may be needed if you have a SPS dominant system which is growing rapidly.

I think it depends on the bioload of your tank. IMO if your tank is well established and lightly stocked you should be able to feed less. Your tank will grow food for the fish to eat there for you can get away feeding less. If your tank is not well established or heavly stocked you will have to feed more because less food in the system for fish to feed on. You need to keep an eye on your fish seeing how they look and act (healthy)and that should determine the proper feeding schedule IMO

Agreed with above. I'm a guilty over feeder but I have the equipment to handle it without any problems. As you progress in the hobby you will know your tank so feed sparingly.
I feed meaty stuff every other day and seaweed every day.
