    Hang in there Fletch! Nothing more stressful than a flood, but you'll figure it out. And when you do and have it running, I bet that beer will taste real good. ;D

    For piece of mind, you might want to look into a high/low pump shut off switch. That should prevent it next time.

    PS a high/low pump shut off switch were would I find one and were does it go? DUH :-[

    Not off the top of my head. I don't have experience with double sumps though... curious what Nugio will have to say.

    Im at work right now so ill get a pic when i get home.your fuge/ sump is oriented like mine. except my skimmers in the sump and ive got only one return pump. mine was the same as yours at first with the dual ret pumps thats wherein lies the problem with flooding.

    So you are saying that you put both drain hoses into the same area right?
    Fletch should use one the sumps for a refugium and pump into it and back to main sump with a bulk head or over flow?
    using both pumps to pump back to tank?
