    would that be to big for my tank? it's a 75 gallon do you think the 600gph will be ok? :-/

    at least 10x for return is the recomended .turn over total that can include all the pumps power heads 10-20x

    the 300gph pump I have is a Mag-3 it is a well built pump I think I'll try to make the modifications to my setup next weekend if I get the overflow by then. Thank you Nugio You Have been a great help. Thanks again

    Nugio,

    Why can't he have both return pumps going if the were in the same section?
    I can see if they were in 2 different sections but if in the same area then he can direct the flow back into the tank at each end and make a wave effect.
