So I just got a condy anemone and I was told it would eat frozen shrimp, is that what I feed it or is there something else?

Also it has been moving itself around my tank getting closer and further from my corals and making me worry until it finds it's home, when will it find it's home? Will it take a while? It's attached to a rock so I think it's healthy so....

You can feed it pretty much any smaller frozen meaty fish food. Mysis/shrimp/krill/silversides. Yes it will continue to move until it finds it's happy spot :)

+1 to Nanareefer. I had the condy in my avatar for 4 years before it mysteriously died :( I only target fed mine frozen mysis and brine shrimp about once a week. If the tentacles are curling up and moving to the mouth when the food touches them then you know it is feeding good. You could do a small piece of shrimp once a month for a treat. It is critical that your condy find a good happy spot and stays there. Stable water conditions and good lighting are also imperative.

I think it found its spot but it's kinda away from view, will it grow to a decent size?

I just fed him a piece of frozen shrimp and he devoured it! It was so cool how often should he be fed?

condy's will not stop moving when they find a good place to be, they simply are roamers. theyll pick a spot, stay there for a few days, then travel across the tank to another spot. one of the main reasons they are so hard to maintain in a reef tank without killing off loads of coral.

It probably will not grow much larger than it is now but if is healthy is will expand more and look 2x its current size. I would not move it now. Observe for a week or two to make sure it keeps looking healthy. After that if its attached to a rock or something that is moveable maybe your can place it of a better spot for viewing. Pay attention to the type of water movement it is getting in its happy spot and place it in a similar area of flow if you decide to move it to where it can be seen better. Good luck :) .
