I already had 1 pecula and 1 clarks clown each with there own anemone in my 75. Both are perfect tank mates. Yesterday I decided to get another percula as a mate for my other percula. at first they fought constantly. then in the mourning they were side by side in the same anemone as if they were husband and wife laying in bed together. now this afternoon there are still in the same anemone but from time to time the look like they are fighting again locking lips and wrestle a bit and shuddering at each other. are they just deciding who the boss of the house is ( like a husband and wife hehehe )? 1 stays at the top half and the other at the bottom half of the anemone. they are both exactly the same size and both true perculas. should i give it a couple of days? i hope to try and breed clowns some day. by the way the clarks clown could care less what going on at the other end of the tank.

Keep watch over them for a few days. They are probably deciding which will be the female and which will be male. Expect the 'shuddering' behaviour to last, it seems to be normal 'courting' behaviour.

it was a while ago and i dont know if i can find it but someone had videotaped there brittle star catching fish, and had it on the internet. it canopys it self on the legs when a fish swims under it for shelter it drops and boom it catches the fish. as far as the lip locking my pair i had for almost 5 years and they lock lips and shake still i never found out what it was but might be some type of mating ritual for clowns. and if he wanders to far off she chases him down and pulls him backwards by the tail. theyve been husband and wife for 5 years lol she wears the pants in that relationship:)
