    Hey,

So I bought two cinnamon clownfish and they were getting along fine- but now they won't stop fighting! And it's not a playful nip and bite here and there. It is like serious tail bashing, fin eating, won't leave each other alone.

There is one cinnamon clownfish with a stripe down its side and one without- the one without is always the instigator and seems to never leave the other alone.

Also, my blenny seems to not care for the two cinnamon clownfish either and they fight too.

It's a freaking gladiator match in my tank!

clownfish will fight until they establish a dominance and one becomes a female(this could go one for a while). if they both are already female then it will be until one becomes a dead clownfish.

My new clownfish was taken in by my older clownfish (and MUCH larger I might add) without any problems at all. I guess the older one was already the female so the battle was already settled hehe.
