I have a big Fiji leather that is slightly touching my Montipora. Can it cause much damage and if I move him will the area where it touched heal. I otice a little discolored area. Also I have a Favia about 8 inches under but his tentacles sometimes touch. :-/

the two corals do not have a sweeper tenticles, but leathers are known to produce a toxin when they want room to grow or are unhappy. I would adjust the position of one or the other so that the sps is either up stream of the leather or farther away.

The Favias sweeper tentacles (about 6 inches) I can see has made a few spots on the Montipora. If I move the Monti with he look better in time?

probably, they are typically hardy and it will most likely heal.

Have you ever had SPS get stung by LPS?
