Fiji purple.

I'm still trying to decide on my T5 combination and I came upon these: T5 Tubes KorallenZucht Brand H/O - 39W T5 Fiji Purple - Guppy’s Aquarium Products Online - Korallenzucht T5 Coral Light Fiji Purple - Special Red Blue 39W. I have 2 actinics and 2 10,000k at the moment and was thinking of replacing one of the actinics with a fiji purple. Any thoughts or advice on this?

If i had the set up For T5's I'd runn them for a Few days or so pending how the return policy works.. If you dont like them boxem up ship them back.. Who know's you could be the beging of a new rating scale for them..!!

When I was looking at different bulbs to replace my old ones, I thought about adding a Fiji purple to 2 ATI Blue+ and an Aqua Blue. I decided against it because as I was looking at people's tanks with that bulb, I felt it brought out too much red and that it looked unnatural. If you google the bulb and go to images, there are lots of links with pictures of tanks running it.
This site helped me out a lot,there are many different tanks with different bulb combinations. I actually tried to start a thread like that here, but it was only mildly successful. I ended up going with 2 x Aqua Science Special (15,000K) and 2 x Aqua Science Blue (22,000K).

Thank you both for the replies and thank you for the link GuitarMan89, there are some great pictures there and it makes it even harder to decide on a combination, although I did like one in particular that included one fiji purple. Yesterday I replaced a 10,000k with a 14,000k but could not see any difference at all. I guess I will keep experimenting till I find what I like.
