i removed the tab on my biocube 14 and when i put filter floss over the drip tray, it really reduces the flow rate. Am i adding to much floss? Does all the water need to flow through it or could i just put some floss in the top of my media rack thats in the first chamber?

I'm not familiar with the biocube, but I don't think the filter floss should be disrupting the flow. If you have the option of just having only some of it exposed to the water and it does not reduce your flow, I would think that would be fine.

cool yeah thats how it works in the media rack. Most of the water travels through it but not all of it, which keeps the flow rate up. Thanks
