    Is it a good idea in general to keep carbon in a aquaclear 110 that i'm currently using for my 40G? and also, what should i add for phosphate remover?

    Hi, it is o.k. to use carbon but a product that is superior is Chemi pure elite. It lasts longer so you save money and they have added a phosphate remover so you address 2 issues (or more) at the same time. I use it but I also use a phosphate reactor.
