I have a 65g tank, its still in cycling! The problem is i have a wet/dry filter and a hangover, it looks like the pump is shooting out water from the filter faster in to the tank than its sucking in water! now the level is rising and looks like water would come out if it keeps on! what should i do! Thanks!

you need to restrict the return flow, with a ball valve. Then you can get the return rate the same as the filter.

Yea the tank is filling up cuz of the pump! All the water in the filter is going into the tank faster than filter is geting from the tank!

Either your overflow box is clogged or your return pump is rated higher than the overflow box. As stated by others, you may need to install a ball valve to control the flow. After the return pump, NOT before it.
