I would like to get a filter sock or two (one for the drain line for my sump, one for the exit of my skimmer) to mainly help with the microbubble problem I have. What micron should I be looking to get? 100? 200? I was going to get one with a drawstring from BRS and probably put another smaller one with carbon in the big one that's around the drain line from the DT.

    Both

    Hello,

I would get both that way YOU have a choice and it's nice to have a couple extra.

    Happy ReefN,

Thanks--I just ordered a couple 100 micron, so I'll give those a shot first.

on mine i run a 200 for the drain and a 100 for the skimmer. imo 100 on the drain side plugs up too fast

How exactly do you attach it to your skimmer outlet? Mine points straight down and I have limited room to wrap it around. I actually thought about cutting a small piece of the filter sock and using a rubber band to attach it to the outlet tube.
