Filter Sock Holders for the reasonable reefkepper!

    I had that happen in the begining when I ran them after filling the excess water drained into the tank, I had no flooding. It IS a good point. You could 'port' them but cutting some holes in the upper ring to make sure it drains if that is your concern.

    I wonder that same thing. Usually that only happens when the poster deletes their own posts lol. I don't see no reason for him to delete it though.

    lol. I've never noticed anything weird form Vinny before. Though I don't know why he would delete his own post?

    Thanks for the response. I suppose drilling some holes near the top would eliminate the problem for the most part.

    4" or 6" depending on the socks you want. Whenever i do plumbing I take my parts with me to the store so i can build it right there and not make 4 trips .... anymore .... lol

    thats just the standard 100 or 200 micron filter sock, i think its 4"
