    I use BRA Mesh Filter Socks 24/7 and change every 3 weeks with zero Nitrates. They catch all the large nasty stuff and never clog, by far one of the best socks iv used. The felt clog in about 1 week and offset water in my sump causing issues.

    I've not used them in my 19+ years of reefing. I want all my tanks to have as much zooplankton floating around as possible for a natural coral feed as well as other microcosms that can capture it.

    ive always used filter pad/fiber and changed them out on water change or when they really overly nasty

    Yes I use Marine Stress Coat to get rid of the bleach they are washed in. Usually let them sit for a day in a bucket and then hang dry.
