filterbox upgrade

I have finaly upgraded my sump from a 55g rubbermaid bin to a 40g glass breeder.
At first i thought the plastic container would work great wich it did for about 5 months. After time the bin would warp and bend and bow. And over time it leaked. So i had no choice but to upgrade to a glass tank.


let me know wha you guys think. I havent been on 3reef in a long time so i thought i would share my newest upgrade to get back on the forum.

How is that Vertex treating you? It looks like it is rockin!!

The upgrade looks nice, I also used the bins in the past but would always have the same thing occur, warping and leaking

 

Hey Dr. frag! i have been all over the country this summer, not alot of time posting online.
But now im home and my reef is very happy lol. As for the bins they seem to work great short term but long term there no good.

 

oh ya and the vertex is still running like a champ!

 

40g breeder still workin like a charm.
