    Hello,
I'm new to saltwater and want to get a tank up and running. I have a Renia xP3 canister filter that I use to use on a freshwater tank. Its rated for 175 Gallons I think and I am setting up a 60 Gallon. Will that sufficiently filter my tank? There will be a protein skimmer after Cycling and two powerheads to move water. I am wanting to use live sand and live rock also with about 70 lbs of dead/live sand in for the bed and ionno of the about of rock yet. Would that be enough bio? If not anyways to use the canister, if it would work for the tank, and still have enough bio? Any other reccomendations? I've been looking into a DIY 20 Gallon sump I found on Cichlid-forum.com. Here is the site if you want to look: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/diy_overflow.php. I want to set up a reef/fish tank with a few fish and a small reef righ now planned is a Clown, Chromis, Anonmie(Sp), Red Mandrin, Sea Horse, Flame Angle, and a puffer of some type. Just so you know the idea of the bio load.

    Thanks in advance,
    David.
