I'm down to one perc and a scooter blenny in my 30g so I decided that I'm going to pretty much start over with my stocking. I really am not a fan of the classic clowns anymore so I'm taking the last perc out. I'll be keeping my scooter blenny. Here is the list I'm considering at this point:

    1 Mccosker's Flasher Wrasse
    1 fairy wrasse
    1 scooter blenny

What do you think/recommend? are there any comparable fish you would recommend putting in place of either the skunks or the wrasse?

As always my thanks and K+ for all opinions given.

I like fairy/flasher wrasses, go all wrasse (as long as your tank has a canopy or cover. :)

You may need to remove the dragonet though as some wrasses will compete for food with them. I assume you have some sort of refugium or pod farm going (I can't keep track of who does and doesn't!).

I do have a fuge and tons of pods. My dragonet eats frozen or even dried food though so there shouldn't be much competition.

I don't have a canopy though so I may have to re-think this.

They look like clarkiis to me.

Ok, new question. Could I house a flasher and fairy wrasse together?

As I look at my tank with only the scooter blenny in it I like the idea of smaller less noticeable fish. It feels like it draws me in close to look instead of just glancing from across the room.

Interesting. I just happen to know where they both are close to my house for $20 each.

I'm really trying to resist though. If I leave only my scooter in there (with the extra thick slime coat) for a couple of months I should be rid of ich and can start fresh with no disease.

Out of any of the wrasses I would recommend a 6-line or a 12-line wrasse. They have great personalities, but they would compete with your scooter blenny for pods. Mine was a real pod destroyer. lol I like the pink skunks, for some reason I dont see alot of people with them. Not sure about the fairy and flasher wrasse though.

Keep us posted on what you choose!

The six line was originally on my list, but they seem pretty common and I also got some feedback saying they can get aggressive in a smaller tank. With no top I don't think an aggressive little wrasse would last long in my 30.
