Final sump design

    This is my final sump design. It works as follows: water is pumped through a sponge, onto a skimmer, through live rock, heaters and onto the return pump. It is going to be made from a 10 gallon tank, for a 40 gallon coral/fish/invert tank, and it will provide all the filtration. I am posting this because I am wondering if anyone has some last minute design change ideas/recommendations before I start work on it.

    Also, that thing in the pic that looks sort of like a jalapeño pepper is a heater. It's not exactly art.:)

    That looks good. Instead of a sponge, you could use a filter sock. That's the only thing I would throw out there, not because it's better, just something to think about. Good job. K+

    Edit: It's a wonderful looking jalapeno. Don't knock your artwork!!

    filter sock eh? never heard of one of those. I will look into it!
