Finally got a decent camera

I finally got a camera that will get the actual colors of coral. Especially at night. I haven't gotten it 100% figured out..but the above pics are already 10x better than ones with my old camera.

I got a Cannon Powershot sx210. It's like a DSLR in a point and shoot body. It's still not the quality of one..but it has a mode where you can control everything, which is what I wanted. For 250 bucks I'm pretty satisfied.

I've been so envious of people's night pictures. I can't wait to actually learn how to use this thing.

I hope so! I had purchased a different one last..but returned it this morning and exchanged it for this one.

I discovered that to get the greens to show like that you have to adjust the white balance. My old camera just had presets, but this one you can make your own.

theres TUNS of book out there that will help you learn everything you can(or want to) about your camera and photography(one of my other hobbies is photography)

I'm going to for sure start doing some reading. Mainly definitions on what all these settings actually change lol

 

just be ready to take it all in, its alot of info lol
